Blackstone Steakhouse

10 Pinelawn Road
Melville, 11747

There is no doubt, that Blackstone Steakhouse has raised the bar, when it comes to classic beef offerings with the fusion of artful Japanese Sushi. Located in the heart of Melville’s business district, Blackstone is a popular draw for hundreds of corporate offices with a strong following of customers that come from a broad segment of the Long Island market. Blackstone Steakhouse sister restaurants include Rare 650, Syosset and Insignia in Smithtown, all of which have built a reputation as top end restaurants on the Island. As its’ name emulates, Blackstone Steakhouse is warm and inviting with a refined rustic decor of stone and warm deep wooded interiors. Blackstone is the first steakhouse that implemented a full sushi bar and steakhouse, a blend of the best of both worlds.
Though it is the ambience that draws you in, it is the incredible food and impeccable service that keeps their patrons coming back for more. Blackstone’s menu is designed to appeal to a wide spectrum of foodies, without an overwhelming selection. Signature steaks include the Bone in Rib steak, which is by far the only steak that I’ve had and Blackstone, because it is that good. Flash broiled with a charred exterior, yet tender and juicy inside. It is absolutely perfect. Equally popular amongst the followers of this premier steakhouse is the Braised Veal Osso Buco. Tender fall off the bone goodness, accompanied by a safron risotto, garden veggies and merlot jus. Need I say more? Seafood selections like their Coriander Crusted Ahi Tuna, served with roasted root vegetables and red wine reduction or their Louisiana Barbeque Prawns presented in a peppered dusted bbq glaze with soft herb polenta is also unique in flavor and presentation. For me, the sides is what pulls everything together. A sumptuous selection of truffle butter mushrooms, roasted corn succotash, hash browns, crispy fried onions……well the list goes on. Just come in and order a few for the table.
Though Blackstone is a steakhouse, make no mistake about it, their sushi and signature rolls keep in step with all that excites its’ patrons. Blackstone focuses in on the best from the East without making their sushi offerings hard to choose from. Prepared by Master Sushi Chef Yukio Hatsui, will win you over with their original sushi creations that work well as a starter or as a complete dinner experience. For me, I like to start with one of their signature rolls, before ordering my Rib Steak.
Popular Signature Rolls include, “Volcano, made with king crab, pepper tuna, drizzled with a Honey Wasabi Sauce. Got to try the “Mexican”, spicy crunchy lobster, apple, spicy tuna with a chipotle mango Sauce is addictive. Indulge to the max with the “Blackstone Supreme”, prepared with kobe Beef, avocado, spicy tuna and king Crab in a spicy eel sauce. The list of Signature Rolls and Special Rolls goes on. Whatever you try, you are certain to enjoy.
Blackstone’s is the perfect setting for corporate functions or any special occasion. Classic ambience, outstanding food with impeccable service is what has made Blackstone Steakhouse who they are.
