La Nonna’s Pizzeria has earned a reputation for delivering everything you can expect and want from your local pizzeria. Operating successively for over 10 years, owner Joe consistently caters to a customer that has become spoiled by the creativity and authenticity of what old world pizza is supposed to be. Their story just doesn’t end with great pies! La Nonna’s name, has an obligation to provide its patrons with delicious southern Italian dishes, just like Grandma use to prepare every Sunday.

As Joe states, “our food has to be like eating at Grandma’s house every single time.” As Joe put it, “it is about the traditions of family. It is a passion I have at La Nonna and my customers appreciate it. “The recipes that we make up at our place each day come right out of my family’s recipe book. The ones that were handed down to my mother and now me”, says Joe.

Picture yourself on the narrow streets of Naples where you have the chance to savor the most flavorful pizza that strikes the right balance of freshly prepared sauce combined with perfectly melted cheese on a golden crust that is light and crisp. Each morning, the crew at La Nonna, lovingly showcases a variety of gourmet pies, that can be bought by the slice. From Margherita to Spinach to Buffalo and Barbecue Chicken to their popular Grandma slices, the selection seems endless.

La Nonna’s pasta choices like Fettucine Alfredo, Linguini in Clam Sauce, Penne a la Vodka and Gnocchi Bolognese will make you want to break into song. The menu also serves up a delicious array of appetizers, soups, salads, wraps and entrees. Joe is proud to tell me, “There is no compromise with our quality. My customers  expect the best from La Nonna. That’s why we only use the finest of ingredients”.

Here’s what some of their customers have to say;

Lori of Huntington; “I am a forty-three year old Italian woman who has been eating Italian food all my life…What a pleasant surprise. This was by far the most wonderful pizza I have ever eaten in my life. The crust is to die for.”

Holly agrees; “The restaurant has the best chicken cutlets,” writes Holly on yelp.com. “Not only are they delicious, but the bread is fresh… My family loves the pizza, too. I am happy to report that we found ourselves a new favorite local pizzeria.”

The next time you are thinking of authentic Italian food, found on the streets of Naples, Italy, stop in at La Nonna’s Pizzeria for a slice of the good life.
