Push Fitness Celebrating 15 Years In Business

Push Fitness is not your average gym. Defining what a fitness club should be, they provide over 40 innovative group fitness classes, a spin studio, modern cardio and strength training equipment, luxurious locker rooms with sauna and towel service plus personal training programs.
Celebrating fifteen years in business, Push Fitness has expanded to five different locations across Long Island including College Point, Fresh Meadows, New Hyde Park, Melville and Staten Island.  Surrounded by a multitude of other gyms, there are many reasons why people choose Push Fitness over others – especially in times of COVID. Not only do they demonstrate proper “Gym Etiquette,” but they are laser focused on cleanliness and having a staff that keeps members coming back.
At Push Fitness, they have gone above and beyond to ensure the safety of their guests. Masks are required at all times and sanitation stations can be found in every which direction. From the moment members and staff walk in, they are required to do a 10 second COVID health screening right from their phone. This notifies of any recent travel, existing symptoms, or if they have tested positive in the last fourteen days. Temperatures are also taken at the front desk to prevent anyone who may be sick from entering.
One major safety precaution which sets Push Fitness apart from others, is the installation of iWave; the latest technology of air purifiers to help combat Coronavirus. IWave is designed to disinfect the air from mildew mold, bacteria and viruses in the air, providing hospital grade, surgical room air quality. In addition to iWave, all surfaces in the club are professionally cleaned and disinfected daily—sprayed down with SD Labs Technology products every 90 days to promote a safer environment. SD Labs Technology Products, CDC and EPA approved, has proven to be one of the most effective in fighting viruses and bacteria, and while all these new procedures might be costly, safety is the number one priority.
Another major aspect that has helped Push Fitness get through the pandemic is their space. While many gyms were forced to lose machines post COVID, Push Fitness was able to utilize all equipment, and at the same time, follow the 6-foot rule. Even prior to COVID 19, equipment was spaced out in such a way where people felt comfortable at all times while working out. Their two membership types (off peak and all access), has also played a major role in helping them control volume; this way, they are never faced with overcrowding.
At Push Fitness, Manager, Matt Klivansky, and staff are dedicated to providing an environment where all members feel welcome. They take pride in managing and maintaining the facilities, this way you look forward to taking that one hour break from your hectic and busy schedule, to work on your health and well-being. For beginners and non-beginners alike, they are here to help you reach your individual needs, even if it means losing those fifteen pounds you gained during quarantine!
