After decades in home improvement and bathroom remodeling, founder Glenn saw firsthand how quickly someone’s independence can change. The inspiration for Safe Bath began when his mother struggled to step over the side of her bathtub following hip surgery. Rather than replace the entire bathroom she loved, Glenn created a custom solution that allowed her to enter the tub safely while preserving the rest of the space.

What started as a solution for his own family grew into Safe Bath, a family-owned company dedicated to helping Long Islanders stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.

Today, Glenn works alongside his sons, Brian, Michael, and Adam, continuing the same values that inspired the business from the beginning. Together, they help customers find practical solutions that support safety, independence, and comfort, allowing them to continue living confidently in the homes they love.

Safe Bath specializes in tub conversions, grab bars, shower seating, raised toilet solutions, and other bathroom safety products designed to support aging in place. Their signature tub conversion creates a lower and safer step-in entry by modifying an existing bathtub.

Most projects can be completed in just a few hours without disturbing the tile, plumbing, or overall appearance of the bathroom, providing an affordable alternative to a full renovation.

Unlike many bathroom remodeling companies, Safe Bath is not focused on selling complete renovations. Their priority is safety, function, and helping customers keep the bathroom they already know and love.

“We give people their freedom back,” Glenn said. “When someone tells us they were finally able to shower on their own again, that means everything.”
