Co Owners Margaret and Clodyn share a deep bond that inspired them to open their boutique salon. Both are mothers of children with autism, and their experiences raising children with communication, food and sensory challenges helped shape the heart of their business. They wanted to create a place where animals have a gentle, positive and nurturing experience, especially those who may be anxious or reactive.
A place where pets feel safe and supported rather than rushed and overwhelmed.
“Our children love animals and so do we,” Margaret says. “Because of their autism, we understand communication, food and sensory challenges. Animals often experience many of the same things but cannot tell us what they are feeling. We wanted to create a place where their needs are truly understood and they are given a voice.”
That philosophy guides everything they do. The boutique salon is designed to maintain a calm and soothing environment with relaxing music if needed, patience and a gentle grooming approach that helps reduce stress. The team also uses light acupressure techniques if needed to reduce stress and welcomes reactive dogs that many grooming salons turn away.
Margaret and Clodyn also bring their backgrounds in healthcare into the shop, approaching every pet with compassion, empathy and understanding.
Their mission remains the same: creating a place where every dog feels at home and every pet’s needs are truly met.
