Secrets of Powerful Women: Energy Healing Practitioner, Loa Blasucci

What if the answers you’ve been searching for aren’t outside of you, but within you?

That is what made my conversation with Loa Blasucci so powerful. On my Secrets of Powerful Women Podcast, Loa didn’t just talk about energy, she grounded it in something deeper, something real. Not “woo,” as she says, but the science of physics and of who we are.

Because at the core of her message is this truth: every single one of us is made of energy. And when you learn how to understand it, manage it, and contain it, everything begins to shift.

Loa’s journey didn’t begin in a meditation room. It began in the fast-paced world of television. She spent 35 years as a celebrity makeup artist in Hollywood, working closely with actors on TV shows and movies, observing them, reading them and understanding how they showed up under pressure. Without even realizing it at the time, she was studying their energy.

She saw how some people walked into a room grounded, calm, confident. Others came in anxious, scattered, reactive. Same job. Same environment. Completely different energy.

That stayed with her.

Then came her next chapter, which was a wellness retreat for women, where she spent years studying behavior, patterns, emotions, and how women’s bodies responded to their lives. What she discovered was something many of us feel but can’t always explain.

We carry everything in our bodies.

The heartbreak, the
trauma, the words someone said to us decades ago that we never forgot. The moments we didn’t process because they were too painful at the time. As Loa explained to me, when we don’t move through those experiences, the body stores them. And over time, they don’t just live in our memories, they live in our bodies.

That is where her work today comes in.

Through energy healing work, Loa helps women understand what they are holding, where they are holding it, and how it is affecting their health, their confidence, and their lives.

But one of the most powerful ideas she shared was this.

Contain your energy.

So many women, especially empaths, are constantly reading the room, taking in everyone else’s emotions, reacting, adjusting, shrinking, overextending. We think it is a strength, and in many ways it is. Left unmanaged, it leads to burnout, anxiety, and disconnection from ourselves.

Loa teaches that your energy is yours. You don’t have to give it away. You don’t have to absorb everything around you. When you learn to ground yourself, to center yourself, and to take up space, everything changes.

The way people respond to you changes. The way you feel about yourself changes. The way you show up in your life changes.

She shared a simple but powerful visual, a woman walking into a boardroom full of men. Instead of shrinking, she lifts, expands, and owns her presence. Not louder. Not harder. Just fully herself. And suddenly, people listen.

That is the power of energy. It is not about becoming someone else. It is about coming back to yourself.

And maybe that is the biggest takeaway from Loa’s story. You are not broken. You are not behind. You are not missing something. You are just perhaps disconnected from the part of you that already knows.
