The owner of K Lashes is no stranger to hard work and passion. What began as a practical decision–realizing how much easier lash extensions made her own routine–soon turned into a full-fledged business that empowers others to feel confident and ready to take on the day. “You don’t need makeup when you have lashes,” she says. “It saves time, and you always look put together.”

Clients come to K Lashes for convenience, but they stay for the results. Many of them have tried other studios, only to return impressed with how long their lashes last here. “Some of my clients keep their lashes for four or five weeks and they still look good,” she says. “When they come back, even though they have to pay for a new set, they’re happy to do it because it lasts.”

While beauty is the focus, compassion is at the core. She explains how some clients come in feeling unsure. “I tell them to wait a couple of weeks, let their natural lashes grow. Even just a few extensions are better than nothing, and once their lashes are stronger, we can go fuller.”

Quality is non-negotiable at K Lashes. Only individual lashes are applied–never clusters–because the health of the client’s natural lashes always comes first. “Clusters can really damage your lashes,” she explains. “We’re here to enhance, not harm.”

Before opening the Huntington location, she ran a successful studio in Glen Head. That’s where she started building her loyal clientele, often offering discounted sets to first-time clients. “Even if you don’t love it, it’s not a big loss. But most people do love it, and then they keep coming back.”

Despite not relying heavily on social media, K Lashes has grown steadily through word-of-mouth and glowing Google reviews. “It’s a small business. I focus on taking care of every customer,” she says. “If people like us, they’ll tell others.”

With a second location and a trained team who shares her attention to detail, the future of K Lashes is bright. Though she may one day move or expand, her mission remains the same: offer high-quality lashes, honest service, and lasting beauty that speaks for itself.
