Paul Como, founder of Pool Doctor of East Northport has been fulfilling the dreams of Long Island families since 1974. Mr. Como has since then retired, but the legacy lives on. Paul’s three children; Paul, Christi and Michael, who have become life-long veterans of the industry carry the traditions of what has made Pool Doctor one of the leading Pool Builders and service companies on Long Island. Michael explains, “as locals, we understand that a swimming pool is a major part of an investment in one’s home. A backyard often forms the backdrop for some of the meaningful experiences that a person can have in life, and we take this commitment to serving our community seriously.”

Over their 51-year history Pool Doctor has built over 1000 pools, many of which have been awarded by local, regional, and national trade organizations; including the Masters of Design Award which recognizes lifetime achievements and the pioneering of new techniques for construction and design within the industry. Known once as being a premier pool builder on Long Island, Pool Doctor focuses more on the installation of pool liners, routine service calls, repairs, openings and closings, safety cover installs, saltwater conversions and so much more.
