Marble Brownies

YOU WILL NEED :


  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup canola or vegetable oil
  • 1½ teaspoons almond extract
  • 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon oil (for cocoa mixture)

HERE’S HOW YOU DO IT :


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Spray an 8×8-inch square baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. Mix sugar, oil, almond extract, vanilla extract, and eggs in a large bowl.
    Stir until well combined.
  4. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt to the mixture. Stir until smooth.
  5. Remove ½ cup of batter and combine it with the cocoa powder and 1 teaspoon
    of oil. Mix well.
  6. Pour the plain batter into the prepared pan. Then dollop the chocolate mixture
    on top and swirl gently with a toothpick or fork to create a marbled effect.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Cool before cutting into squares. Enjoy!
