Marble Brownies
YOU WILL NEED :
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup canola or vegetable oil
- 1½ teaspoons almond extract
- 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon oil (for cocoa mixture)
HERE’S HOW YOU DO IT :
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Spray an 8×8-inch square baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- Mix sugar, oil, almond extract, vanilla extract, and eggs in a large bowl.
Stir until well combined. - Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt to the mixture. Stir until smooth.
- Remove ½ cup of batter and combine it with the cocoa powder and 1 teaspoon
of oil. Mix well. - Pour the plain batter into the prepared pan. Then dollop the chocolate mixture
on top and swirl gently with a toothpick or fork to create a marbled effect. - Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool before cutting into squares. Enjoy!
