YOU WILL NEED :
For the Turkey Filling:
- 220g 99% lean ground turkey (Kirkwood)
- 10g gochujang (O’Food)
- 16ml reduced sodium soy sauce
- 7g fresh garlic, minced
- Optional: Splash of rice vinegar or sesame oil for added depth
- Chopped green onions and sesame seeds, for topping
For the Cabbage Boats:
- 83g green cabbage (about 3 large leaves)
For the Fries:
- 369g red potatoes (Farmers Promise), cut into thin fries
- 10ml avocado oil
- Garlic powder, salt, and pepper, to taste
HERE’S HOW YOU DO IT :
1. Cook the Turkey Filling
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the ground turkey, minced garlic, and a splash of water or oil spray. Cook until the turkey is nearly done, then stir in the gochujang and soy sauce. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until the mixture is well combined and slightly thickened.
Top with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Set aside.
2. Air-Fry the Potatoes
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Toss the sliced red potatoes with avocado oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Spread them in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 20–25 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until fries are golden brown and crispy.
3. Assemble the Cabbage Boats
Carefully peel three large cabbage leaves. Rinse and pat dry.
Spoon an even amount of the turkey mixture into each leaf.
Garnish with extra green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
4. Plate & Serve
Serve the turkey-filled cabbage boats alongside the crispy fries with a small side of ketchup.
